telc is an established provider, and telc certificates are as a rule accepted by authorities in Germany as a language proof, for example in connection with citizenship or residence. Whether a certificate is accepted in an individual case and which level is necessary is decided, however, by the respective authority depending on the purpose, and the rules can change.
